Descriptive Writing

The clouds hoverers over the lonely mansion on the head of the ridged cliff. The sea was silent, yet the wind whistled into every crack on the cliff's face. Rain plummeted to the ground, saturating the dead plants that lie below the droopy branches. The trees sway in the strong wind lifelessly as if drained from all sunlight and moisture for years. The mansion's shadow loomed over the dark graveyard behind the disintegrating building.

At the top of the mansion, one window stood out from all others. It shone so bright it would blind even the darkest of creatures. In the room where the bright light shone, a young woman lay still in her bed, a shadow sweeping past one of the stained windows of the room. The shadow loomed over the silk material hanging from her bed, as a bundle of leaves swept past the bright window. A lighting flash revealed the shadow of a mysterious immortal being moving closer to the helpless woman. She suddenly turned her head, noticing the silhouette scamper across the damp floorboards. She sat up vulnerably to the ghostly figure to disappear. The woman shrieked out for help, yet the only reply was the thunderous howl of the wolves at the moon.

As the body of the creature moved into the supple silk, the young women fling her arms in a desperate ay of defence. The darkness of the beast covered all her efforts of resistance. She grabbed everything that was in reach as one last desperation to get the immortal beast away from her. She clutched a empty glass of water from the side of her bed and hurled it at his limp body. The vampire caught the glass of water and tossed it out of the unfastened window. She stretched her arm out to reach a deep blue pen on the bottom of her bed where she has been writing a novel. The vampire leant over her frail body positioning his vast fangs towards her neck. She stabbed him. The young woman only pierced his robust skin laving him in a better position to bite.

She frantically kicked the vampire until he fell off the tall bed. She ran out of the door anxiously and tumbled down the crooked stairs, with the vampire on her back. Her only hope was to get to her insignificant store room and use the unholy water to annihilate the immortal beast. The beautiful young woman dived into the doorway of the store room and frantically searched for the unholy water. The vampire leapt into the store room and corners the delicate woman positioning again for another strike on her striking neck.

She through the unholy water at him. The beast moves out of the way of the hurdling bottle. The vampire stares into the young woman's eyes as if he had a change of heart, "ahhhhhhhhhh", he strikes the girl and left her to die. The lovely young lady just lay crumpled and dead in a growing pool of crimson liquid leaking slowly from her neck, as he slowly turned his back and removed himself from the crime he has just committed. He closed the door and removed all remorse from him, flying out of the window. All was left were the howling wolves and the whistle of the wind around the new even more deserted and lonely mansion.
