22 August - Day 4 Progress - After much searching I finally found the sailors and got the information I needed, which was to search for someone with glasses and a leather jacket. Yay more searching.
After visiting the jazz bar and getting owned by some sailor wannabes at a game of pool I was unsure where to find the other bar I was suggested. After a night of hunting I couldn't find it as it wasn't on the map and no one was giving me any more information, I finally found it tucked down a stair way opposite the motorbike shop. Now that I had to wait for a few until 7 pm so I needed to find something to do, after a little running around I found a slot house! I never knew that Shenmue 1 had a slot house so I had to give it go and went about losing 1500 yen and just missed out on a 4000 yen win due to me not betting enough. Finding the game much more enjoyable already so bring on the next play session.
More Game Journey Shenmue Edition coming soon..

Just a brief update as I've been messing around with the front page template CSS which has been such a pain for such a little change! Parts of the front page weren't in-line together along with extra padding and borders which I didn't think was needed, so I went about trying to edit only certain parts of the CSS without destroy the rest of the website. After plenty of trail and error and 4 different edited CSS style sheets I managed to get the result I was looking for.

I also added some extra borders to the left column to split the main content and navigation options to give a cleaner look. Finally I updated the website to the latest version of Joomla which caused a few issues but nothing that couldn't be sorted out easily enough. |

I said 4 months until the next website update but it's been 2 so I must be getting better. Saying that not all that many changes have been made a part from a very important fix.
- Removed hacked portion of the website last month
- Recovered from a previous backup
- Edited the Eyefinity Game Review layout to make them look a little nicer
- Fixed some Influential Game typos and formatting
- Added some Bugs articles as found under News>Game Bugs
- Added some new Eyefinity menu items
- Created some more custom CSS article effects allowing for better formatting in future articles
- Removed some articles which were never going to get complete (you weren't missing much)
There hasn't been much going on at work to write about recently but there has defiently been a lot of work not allowing me to write about anything. Keep your eyes open for some more Eyefinity reviews which may be short a sweet along with some new type or articles about the G19 and 3D projects, even maybe some beta articles too. |

Whoa forgot about logging down the changes I have made to my website, here is all the stuff I can remember over the past 4 months of tweaks and changes:
- Added ATI Eyefinity Section
- Corrected some huge articles for displaying wrongly in certain places
- Changed the MP3 player back to the original one
- Removed GDGT Gadget as I never used it and it was a bit of a mess tbh
- Added plenty of new articles about my triple screen experiences
- Slowly adding games to my gaming history/influential games (Shenmue soon I hope)
- Using a new backend editor which will hopefully allow adding articles to become easier
- Added some custom CSS views for my modules (took me a while to get right)
- I did have custom snow over the Christmas period which shall return next year
- Cleaned up some graphics
- Re-arranged some ftp folders and links
- Nearly got through my backlog of "need to do" articles
Well that will do it for now, I'll see you in 4 months... hehe. |

A good 4-5 months ago my Logitech G25 Racing wheel started to produce a burning smell after 30 minutes or so of use, I thought nothing about this and just kept using my wheel as normal. Another month or 2 after that the smell became strong and would occur after 10 minutes of use so I knew this was getting worse but I was baring in mind that the wheel was already 20 months old. I was maybe thinking about contacting Logitech support as the G25 comes with a 2 year warranty but I didn't really want to go through the hassle of trying to find a box etc for returning my wheel so I forget about it. Well my H-Shifter lost reverse so I tried to re-install the wheel and everything from my end but the button was totally unresponsive which left me no choice in contacting Logitech's support.
