Well, I've got a treat for everyone today! After searching around to find some proper settings for the Logitech G25 to use with Need For Speed: Shift I found a helpful chap "juls" who has made a some custom control settings. The simple xml file complete changes how the game feels, you have more control over the car, less over steer and amazing Force Feedback! Want Shift to feel like a simulator? If so, follow these simple steps:
- Download THIS File
- Extract the vehicleset_pc_custom_wheel.xml file into your ControllerDefaults/PC folder in your NFS installation directory (say yes if asked to replace)
- Change your settings to default in the Logitech Game profiler at 540 Degrees (see image below)
- Load up Shift and goto control settings and choose the second to last option "Custom wheel"
- Press "2" on your keyboard to make sure the default values are loaded
- Choose a track and be amazed!
