NFS Shift Real Mod 2.0 along with no bloom

There has already been a fair few modifications for EA's latest Need for Speed title considering the game has been out for less than a month. The biggest issue trying to be address is the car handling physics which are good fun but not realistic enough for hardcore sim fans. I'll give you the low down on the current top Mods for NFS: Shift along with where to get them, so keep reading to find out more:

Real Mod 2.0

Real Mod tweaks most of physics in the game to make most of the cars feel more stable and removes the dreaded over steer (slightly). As this mod is in its infancy it does have a fair way to go in creating a realistic racer. Download + Installation instructions can be found in the link below:

Damage Mod

This is a small and simple mod which increases the damage model to give more dramatic effects when you hit a barrier. There is a few know issues with it at the moment but worked fairly good for myself, click the link below to download:

No Bloom

Another very simple mod but which effects the games visual style immensely. Just download the tiny mod below and extract it into your NFS: Shift installation directory, this will result in removing the "Bloom" effect giving the game a more realistic feel.

Track Object Remover

A slightly more complicated modification that will remove most of the fantasy track objects from the game adding to the realism of the track design. This takes a little time to get going but if you are interested follow the link below to for the instructions/download:

As better and more complete mods become available I will keep everyone updated with some larger previews/tutorials. But for now enjoy what the community has already created.
