Test Drive Unlimited 2 was finally announced a few weeks back after years of rumours and uncertain future of Atari and Eden Games projects and since then we have had plenty of rumours crop up from various websites and magazines. With the first trailer just released along with some hard facts from IGN TDU fans can finally relieve that sigh they have been holding inside over the years. Finished sighing? Good, now lets list some of the new and improved features that TDU2 is bringing this holiday period (30th November).

• New Ibiza Island accurately mapped
• Hawaii Island returns with extra roads and updates
• New cars including SUVs
• Off roading tracks and physics
• Updated physics engine
• Day-night cycle with weather effects
• Expanded avatar control allowing you to walk around in buildings
• Co-op driving allowing you to have a passenger in a race/cruise
• Many new multiplayer features adding a more social aspect to the game
• Updated graphics but don't expect Crysis/GT5

Now that is some features! This is just to begin with so expect to see a lot more information over the coming weeks along with a Beta demo due out some time later this year.
