Another racing game hits the PC in the form of Test Drive Unlimited 2 a perfect candidate for ATI's Eyefinity setup, but how well does it perform? First off Eden isn't know for being the most advanced developer in the world and generally they bring pretty poor PC ports from the console counterparts this fact alone doesn't give me high hopes for Eyefinity. When loading up the game all the options are there where you can easily set the Eyefinity resolution and change the advanced graphic settings to get the most out of performance. Now let's dig a little deeper to see where the Eyefinity support slips up...
With Eyefinity enabled the game becomes pretty sketchy with some horrid stretching of the menus and HUD which are all still perfectly usable but not ideal. The UI will take up all 3 monitors along with scaling to crazy sizes causing it to block a lot of your newly added FOV, some views can be better than others as this will remove some elements of the HUD giving you a much better FOV overall. I found the game still very playable while in Eyefinity but it is a shame that the UI can get so messed up while using it and with no fixes about on the internet and no word of any coming soon it looks like TDU2 is destin to stay the same.
