My original website, a short lived website that didn't have many updates. When I first started my website I wasn't expecting much from it as I was playing around with Joomla and I was trying to figure out how the CSS code was laid etc. Then before I could revamp the site a bit I was offered to make a website for the school I'm currently working at which took a large amount of my time so my website was untouched for a few months. The original website had a more basic layout which mainly focuses on blogging and I found it difficult to add content in different areas. But the main problem had to be the version of joomla it was running it, I was unable to run some of the 3rd party plugins or edit some of the default settings. I still kept at the website trying to remove all of the bugs and add content whenever I could but I just wasn't happy with the design and what the website was capable of. I'll talk more of the new website and the transaction to the new site in another article. But if you do want to see some of "learning results" check out http://www.maxisdomain.co.uk/oldweb/ My old site will still be online for a while at the above url, buts its a mess so don't expect much from it. |
