Telnet sesioon of the HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 420

Bit of a random work project here which is short but I thought it would still be good to put some of the little jobs onto my website. We have just had 3 wireless access points delivered for the science laptops, all of these need setting up before they can be wall mounted. Setting up takes a wee bit of time to be honest as first I needed to make a telnet session connected via a serial cable to configure the IP address to our IP range. I've never done a telnet before so after 10mins of playing I managed to figure it out and get the basic IP settings configured which can be seen in the above picture. It doesn't end there though as I had to set the description name, device name, setup and admin password, add the wireless point into our inventory and IP listing and finally smart water the device. It took about an hour to setup all of the access points but now we should be fine over the summer.
